Jill Kennedy is a twenty something with a passion for social media and content creation. She graduated from the University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. The program is focused in practical design, Web 2.0 studies, photography /filmography, Internet branding, social media theory, viral marketing and creative writing. She specialized in Visual Culture & Communication and majored in Professional Writing. In her final year, one of her short stories, ‘Modern Beatniks’ was published in the Mindwaves Journal. In the past, Jill has worked at CFRE (Erindale Radio) in the Programming, Promotional and Management departments. She was a major planner and promoter on projects such as the 24-Hour Broadcast, which raised food and funds for the Mississauga Food Bank, as well as Sound Summit and Sound Clash II, which were two concerts that promoted local student talent to the community. Jill also interned at SavvyMom Media, where she copy-edited, wrote and worked with SEO and meta-tagging to improve website reach.
When she isn’t working, she’s blogging, reading, hanging out with her dogs and cats, travelling or playing video games.
